What is a Russian cursive generator?

For the most handwritten feel, start with the Cursive & Handwriting group. Marck Script, Bad Script and Caveat have slanted, pen-like letterforms that come closest to Russian cursive text. Calligraphic serifs such as Cormorant Garamond and Yeseva One suit invitations and titles.
It converts printed Russian into a cursive style — it doesn't translate English, and it doesn't reproduce the letter-joining rules children learn from прописи workbooks. The comparison further down shows where those rules differ from print.

Russian cursive vs. printed Cyrillic
Every font here shows printed Cyrillic styled decoratively. In everyday handwriting, several letters change shape completely — the main reason handwritten Russian is hard to read.
